Meet the Baker
Hello, I'm the heart behind every cake
I've been baking for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Portishead, the kitchen was always the heart of our home — filled with the smell of vanilla, warm sponge, and something sweet always cooling on the rack or even my Nan's rice pudding or trifle.
What started as baking birthday cakes for friends, family and my two boys, quickly grew into something much more. I then gave up my full time engineering job to do this full time. The business was very successful and a true family affair. A life changing illness in 2024 completely turned my world upside and having lost everything, I saw no purpose in living. These were some very dark days indeed. Slowly with the help and support of friends, family, neighbours and the NHS I am slowly getting my groove back!
Every cake I make is truly personal. I work closely with each customer to understand their vision, their story, and what will make their day truly special. The result is always something unique — a cake that's entirely, beautifully theirs.

A Story Worth Celebrating
2000
Where It All Began
Started baking from home for friends and family in Corsham, quickly gaining a reputation for stunning celebration cakes.
2005
First Birthday Cake
Delivered our first official birthday celebration cake - a two tiered cute teddy bear design.
2008
First Wedding Cake
First tiered wedding cake in 2005. A beautiful 3 tiered cake with teal blue sugar roses and cupcakes in various shades of blue delivered and set up in Corsham Town Hall.
2017
First Award Recognition
Received Merit from Cake International in Birmingham.
2018
Award Recognition
Received Silver from Cake International in Birmingham in the entry categories of Wedding Cakes and Cupcakes.
2019
In The News
Achieved an article in the press from Unilad on our infamous Baked Bean cake, leading to a Heinz Baked Bean cake for the directors at Heinz in London.
2021
Taste of the South West
Bronze Winner at Taste of the West for our chocolate brownies.

First Shop Premises
Our first shop opened in early September in Chippenham. Shop was a great success!
2023
Prestige Award Winner
Award Winner from Prestige Awards for Cake Baker in the South West.

Award Finalist in the South West for the Muddy Stilettos Awards.

New Premises
Our move into larger premises happened in the summer, increasing our ability to provide more cakes, cupcakes and treats and catering for all allergies.

Business Closure
Due to a serious illness business had to completely close for 2 years.

New Business Commenced
June 2026 was the beginning of a new start, new business, taking into account the limiting health factors I now face. What will happen next?
